Moldaublick, 30. Juni 1995: Um 00:45 UT begann sich die möglicherweise erste von Österreich aus fotografierte NLC am Dämmerungshimmel abzuheben. Das Bild, aufgenommen vom 24 m hohen Aussichtsturm, zeigt rechts die Lichter des Ortes Oberplan (Horní Planá, Geburtsort des Schriftstellers Adalbert Stifter) am Moldaustausee in Tschechien und nördliche Teile des Böhmerwaldes.
At 0045 UT possibly the first Noctilucent cloud photographed in Austria contrasted the sky at daybreak. The picture, taken from the look-out tower (hight 24 metres), shows the streetlights of Horní Planá and northern parts of the Bohemian Forest in Czechoslovakia.
