Moldaublick, 10. Juni 1997, 01:15 UT: Am 9. Juni abends verhinderten noch Reste eines abziehenden Wolkensystems die Sichtung der NLC´s in Österreich. Erst am nächsten Morgen zeigten sie sich reich strukturiert vom Moldaublick aus. In Norddeutschland konnten sie die ganze Nacht über beobachtet werden (vergl.: Neckel, Th., (1998), Leuchtende Nachtwolken in der Nacht vom 9. zum 10. Juni 1997, Sterne und Weltraum 37/7).

On the evening of 9^th June the remains of an escaping cloud system made it impossible to watch NLC´s in Austria. During the following morning dawn a richly structured cloud appeared over Czechoslovakia. In the northern parts of Germany the clouds were visible all night long (Neckel, Th., (1998), Leuchtende Nachtwolken in der Nacht vom 9. zum 10. Juni 1997, Sterne und Weltraum 37/7).
