Schlägl, 18. Juli 2005, 03:57 MESZ: Knapp vor 04:00 MESZ erschien die NLC in
ihrer größten Ausdehnung und Helligkeit. Die Wolke erreichte zwar nur eine
Höhe von ca. 8°, ihre horizontale Ausdehnung erstreckte sich aber bis zu 90°
(Azimut: 340 bis 070°!).
The cloud was mostly extended and brightened some minutes before 02:00 UT. The height of the upper edge reached only up to 8°, but the horizontal extension was about 90° (azimuth: 340 bis 070°)! |
