Schlägl, 2. Juli 1999, 20:21 UT: Hinderlich für eine erfolgreiche Beobachtung von NLC´s ist häufig die Bewölkung am Nordhorizont. Selbst dünner Cirrus kann ihre Sichtung unmöglich machen oder größere Wolkenteile bedecken.

Often clouding in the northern parts of the sky is obstructing a successful observation of NLC´s. Even thin cirrus can prevent the sighting or cover large parts of the clouds.
