Juli 2002, 02:12 UT: Die Größe der Windgeschwindigkeit lässt sich daraus erahnen, dass bereits innerhalb von etwa 10 Sekunden(!) merkbare Veränderungen in der Wirbelstruktur zu erkennen sind! Dies lässt sich aber erst anhand der Bilder auswerten. Man vergisst während der Sichtbarkeit oft ganz, auf einzelne Details zu achten - so aufregend ist die Beobachtung von NLC´s!

Within 10 seconds the structure of the whirls changed - a result of the high speed of the wind in the upper atmosphere! To discern this it is necessary to interpret the images. Observing NLC´s you forget to pay attention to details - watching Noctilucent Clouds is so exciting!
